New stretch target
The full project will cost almost £6000, so any additional funds raised beyond the £2000 target we have set will be used towards the full cost of the project.

Valkyrie Wilderness Workshops was established to support and improve the wellbeing of Armed Forces Veterans and vulnerable members of the local community. Our base camp at Keelby, Lincolnshire comprises of our outdoor area, on which we have made enormous progress constructing our axe and archery ranges and parachute communal area; and our barn.
Our vision for the barn is to convert it into an indoor learning and meeting space / workshop, utilising a Viking theme in line with the rest of our project. We will be working with designer Rob Fawcett, who recently featured on the BBC's 'Saved and Remade' programme. Gaining funding for the project will not only allow us to convert the space, but also open opportunities for people taking part in our workshops to learn skills by working with Rob on the project.
Completion of the barn project by the winter will enable our services to remain accessible to those who don't want to participate in activities outdoors in bad weather. It will also offer an opportunity for us to raise funds by hiring out the space to other groups and organisations.
