Ainstable Parish Council wants to make sure that all residents in the parish have access to information about the parish council and about everything else that is happening in the community. We have several noticeboards throughout the parish to help us do that.
Unfortunately, the one in Croglin is old, leaky, creaky - and in a terrible location! On the verge of a busy stretch of road with poor visibility up and down the hill, who wants to cross over to check the notices (which have probably got wet and are hard to read anyway!)?
Ainstable Parish Council is working to identify a new location within the village where it can place a new noticeboard - one that is weather-proof and can be safely and easily accessed by everyone, so the whole village can keep up to date.
