We have a damp problem and would like to sort this out and then paint the hall. We would also like two new doors for the hall.

What is the need for your project in the community? How will your project improve local life?
The Village Hall is used regularly for the village to get together. Bingo, Harvest Supper, Keep Fit, Dog Training classes, Parish Meetings, Voting and Coffee mornings, Quiz nights and the summer fete.
What support do you have from the local community for your project?
Yes we do have support and a very good committee made up of villagers, who organize events for the hall. Our hall is a central part to the village.
Who will benefit from your project?
Our whole village will benefit. We have a village of about 150.

We have just raised enough money to put a new floor in the hall but we now need to sort the damp out and then decorate it. We need another £10,000 to finish our project.
Please give a breakdown of the costs of your project.
It will cost £7,000 to do the damp course. We have a builders estimate for this.. The decorating would also be needed.
