What is the need for your project in the community? How will your project improve local life?
This project is needed as we are a rural village with no bus service and a lot of the older generation cant get out anywhere, we are the only service really in the village that keeps us together, we run a lot of activities and Cafe, isa huge success.

What support do you have from the local community for your project?
We have done a survey in the village and 80% of people were very happy of the thought of being able to have Sunday lunch in the village for the first time

Who will benefit from your project?
Our whole community will benefit, from young to old, it will give us another new addition to our Community and Community Centre, people can come and have lunch and have a chat, keeping the Village alive.

Tell us more about your project and how it will benefit your community if you are successful.
Our project aims to bring the Village closer and to supply a service that is badly needed ,as a Community centre our aim is to be able to support and supply different services to all the Community, we have been running since 2002 and wit all the cuts from local council we are always looking for new ventures and events so that the centre remains as a hub of our village and to do that we need this project to work as it will be another way of generating income and survive this economical climate. if successful with the grant we will continue to grow our community as the hall is the hub of it, people young and old will be able to benefit for years to come if we can provide the village with another essential service.
