Where will we spend the money raised?
All the money raised and any additional funding from Calor will be used to buy and install a combined climbing frame and slide (multi-play unit) at the playing field in our village, something like one of the examples below:
Why we need your help to get a Climbing Frame & Slide at the Playing Field
Carlby Playing Field Committee is a charity run by volunteers who live in the village. The Playing Field is a community space and we have been working hard to improve the facilities for everyone. Previous play equipment was beyond repair and, whilst we have managed to replace a number of items, we would love to provide a combined climbing frame and slide for the younger children.
Like so many other charities, we have not been able to raise funds in the usual ways, in order to add this item, and are looking for donations to help us.
What this project will deliver for the kids
All the money raised via the crowdfunding will be used to purchase and install a long lasting and safety approved climbing frame and slide.
Recent surveys and feedback from villagers confirms this equipment is the most wanted improvement to the Playing Field and we hope to be able to deliver this in 2021. Please watch our video to hear what it would mean to some of our kids.
We want an engaging and enjoyable space for our community and visitors, with something for all ages at the Playing Field.
