New stretch target
If we were lucky enough to reach our target and get any further funds we would buy more outdoor equipment for the children.
We would like to purchase some outdoor scooters, bikes and go carts for the children at our after school club at Mobberley Primary School.

Mobberley Primary School After School Club runs from 3.15-6pm. Children who are attending are collected from their classes and taken to have a ‘light tea’ and then the fun begins! The children are kept busy with a variety of games and equipment to play with indoors, if wet and outdoors when sunny. Outdoor equipment is limited at present and we would love to expand it. The children love to be outdoors and during these current times this is more important than ever. There are regular theme days at the After School Club (e.g. Chinese New Year), Clubs within the club (e.g. Gardening club) and visitors, (e.g. Lower Moss Wood Animal Sanctuary, SMB Dance.) Children love the relaxed atmosphere of the club, exploring and playing with their friends.
If we raise enough money we will be able to purchase new outdoor bikes, scooters and go carts for the children to use in our school grounds. The new equipment would make a huge difference to the children at the school.
As a small school with a relatively new After School Club setup, we don't have many outdoor activities for the older children. With Covid-19 we are trying to get the children outdoors as much as possible so by having a wider variety of toys and activities for them to play on, they will be able to play outdoors for longer. This also helps to keep the children more active and will help them with their skills on bikes for cycling proficiency.
Our after school club is very popular and is at capacity each night. Therefore the club is likely to grow and will continue to grow as the school grows. The items will be well loved and well looked after so children can enjoy them for years to come. Fundriasing has been limited over the past year due to Covid-19 restrictions. However, as these restrictions are lifted we will hopefully be able to hold things like non uniform days or bake sales to help us raise some money towards the new after school club equipment.
How will any funding be spent:
3 x bikes @ £180 = £540 3 x scooters @ £100 = £300 2 x Go Karts @ £150 = £300 6 x helmets @ £20 = £120 £1260
